Get Ready To Ship Your Pads!
Assembling Your Pad Kits
Congratulations on finishing your pads! Now, let's get them ready for shipping. Watch our video with The Pad Project founder, Emma Stober, to learn the best way to assemble your kits securely. Once assembled place your kits in a sturdy box ready for shipping.
Packing Slip
After assembling and packing your kits, please download and print our packing slip. Record the number of pad kits and pairs of underwear enclosed. This helps our volunteers and aid organizations efficiently manage incoming donations.
Packed & ready to mail?
Too Little Children's Pad Project provides essential pad kits to women and girls in need, focusing on workplaces and high schools near Jemo House in Maseno, Kenya. Recognizing the global impact of period poverty, the project also collaborates with various aid organizations worldwide to expand distribution efforts.
To ensure efficient delivery, the mailing address for pad donations changes monthly, aligning with the current partner organization's distribution schedule. Please contact Caroline at caroline@toolittlechildren.org for the most up-to-date mailing address.
Mailing Options
Finding the most affordable shipping option involves a few important considerations.
Generally, smaller and lighter packages are cheaper to ship.
Distance: Shipping across the country will be more expensive than shipping within the same state.
Speed: Faster shipping options (like overnight) will cost more than slower methods.
Here are some general guidelines:
USPS: For small packages (under 1 pound) and short distances, USPS First Class Mail is often the most economical option.
USPS Flat Rate Boxes: For packages of a specific size and weight, regardless of the distance, USPS Flat Rate Boxes offer a fixed price.
USPS Priority Mail: This is a good option for packages between 1-10 pounds.
UPS Ground and FedEx Ground: For heavier packages (over 10 pounds) or longer distances, these services may be cheaper than USPS.

When Shipping
Use recycled boxes whenever possible.
Weigh your package accurately to avoid paying for overestimated weight.
Consider consolidating multiple smaller packages into one larger one if it's cost-effective.
Ship during non-peak seasons when rates might be lower.
Remember: Pirate Ship and similar platforms can be a great way to compare rates and find the most economical shipping option. However, it's always recommended to double-check the carrier's website for any current promotions or special offers.
